Biography of John Green: Author of The Fault in Our Stars novel

John Green was born on August 24, 1977 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is the author of The Fault in Our Stars novel which has been adapted into a popular movie released in 2014. John Green is the son of two educators, who encouraged him to read constantly from an early age. Green abandoned his studies at Purdue University to write the novel, which he self-published in January 2012.
